The school was founded in 1956 in the city of Indore near Sat Prachar Press as the boys' section of St. Raphael's Higher Secondary School. Sister Ann was the first principal and Father J. Partch was the first in-charge of the school. In 1963, the boys' section was separated from St. Raphael's under Fr. Wilhelm J. Lenzen (a German by birth), and the school continues to be a separate entity. Since then, the school has existed as an independent identity. As the school grew up, the secondary section was separated and shifted to the new campus on the Boundary Road in 1975.[1]
