Chicago Vocational Career Academy, commonly referred to as Chicago Vocational or CVS, is a public high school serving students in the south side of Chicago, Illinois. It was established in 1938 and currently offers 25 career training programs.^[1]

Chicago Vocational has produced a number of notable athletes, including basketball player Juwan Howard, baseball player Marvin Freeman, and football players Dick Butkus, Chris Zorich, and Keena Turner. Actor and comedian Bernie Mac also attended Chicago Vocational as did nationally syndicated radio and television host Michael Baisden.^[1]
