* Overview: It was established in Sept. 8, 1980, intended to be a holding company, but, started as a crewing and manning company which served various principals. It became a full-pledged holding company in 1984 when it established a joint venture Neptune Agencies, Pte., Ltd. of Singapore and organized Orient Maritime & Mgt. Inc. In the same year, it acquired the ownership of Overseas Services Agencies, Inc. which was the Phil. General Agent of NOL, a large shipping company in Singapore. In 1984, RMI entered a joint venture with K Line of Japan and established Transmar Agencies, Inc, to handle the sales and operations of K Line vessels. From here, RMI started diversifying into other lines of business such as travel, restaurant, trading , agri-business and file management. In the early part of 2000, RMI, in order to more innovative, became interested in engaging into logistics and procurement services through the internet. This gave rise to the incorporation of Access Manila.
