Henderson is a city in Clark County, Nevada, United States within the Las Vegas metropolitan area. It is the second largest city in Nevada, after Las Vegas, with an estimated population of 252,064 in the 2008 Census Bureau. It occupies the southeast end of the Las Vegas Valley at an elevation of approximately 1,330 feet (410 m).[1]
