Hi,
I'm a drive-by editor, having seen a link to this page. I was going to improve the map link, but it's not obvious to me how to do that. If anyone is interested, the link I would have changed it to is this one.

Creating New Points
You can add new points by creating a new wiki page and within the wiki page click on the gps button to place
in the wiki text. You can then place the coordinates of the new point you are adding. This is a lot more precise and is harder than what you do in wikimapia. However, the process filters out a lot of noise seen in wikimapia. Hope you can get it to work.
