Saturday 7 to Saturday 14 February 2009


Route: Start Laiya Beach, Batangas Tres Reyes Islands, Marinduque Simara Island, North of Tablas Sibuyan Island Cresta de Galleo Island Finish Boracay Island


The direct line route is 150nm. If suitable wind conditions exist at the time any legs distance will be extended.

The Notice of Race and Entry Forms will be published on the event website by June 2008

Challenge Rally: The Philippine Hobie Challenge will be accompanied by a rally for cruising keelboats, ocean multi-hulls and powerboats. See separate Notice

National and International Championships: The Championships will be held the week before the Challenge at Laiya Beach on 31 January and 1 February 2009

President’s Cup Regatta in Boracay: The Keelboat Manila to Boracay Race will start on 14 February and will be followed by the 17th President’s Cup Regatta in Boracay from 17th to 21st February.
