Adab High School in Esfahān, Iran was established in early 1900s by British Anglican missionaries as an all boy school. It was later converted to a secular school under the direction of Dr. Isa Sadiq (a man of letters and frequent Minister of Education) and under the administration of Dr. Sayyid Yahya DowlatAbadi. Adab High School was the only all-boy's high school in Esfahān with its own swimming pool and soccer field. At the time of its inception, Adab High School enjoyed very modern physics and chemistry laboratories. [1]
