    • Caticlan Airport is an airport serving the general area of the town of Malay, located in the province of Aklan in the Philippines. It is one of the two gateways to Boracay (Asia/Philippines/Aklan/Malay/Boracay/), one of the Philippines' best-known tourist destinations. The airport is classified as a feeder airport by the Air Transportation Office, a body of the Department of Transportation and Communications that is responsible for the operations of not only this airport but also of all other airports in the Philippines except the major international airports.[1]
    • The airport is the sixth-busiest airport in the Philippines and the third-busiest in the Western Visayas region, serving 519,349 passengers in 2005. It is also a hub for South East Asian Airlines, with SEAIR serving the most destinations out of and having the most flights to and from Malay.[1]
    • Since November 8, 2002, the airport has been named after the late Godofredo P. Ramos, a former member of Congress and a native of Malay. However, the name Caticlan Airport takes its name from its location on Barangay Caticlan in the same town.[1]
    • Longest Runway: 2,657 ft.
    • Elevation: 16 ft.
