Overview
Location. The Hyatt Regency Louisville in downtown Louisville (Ky.) is connected via a pedestrian walkway to the Kentucky International Convention Center and 4th Street Live., an entertainment and dining venue. This contemporary hotel is within walking distance of theaters, museums and shops and the Louisville Center for the Arts is just two blocks away. Other nearby attractions include Churchill Downs, Louisville Slugger Field, the Speed Art Museum, Glass works and Louisville Zoo.
Hotel Features. The Hyatt Regency's 18 stories open to a central atrium where glass elevators provide speedy access to guestroom corridors. On the ground floor, the property has an art gallery, a sundries shop and the Trellis Café. The cafe serves casual American staples such as sandwiches and burgers. Pepper's Bar, the hotel's lounge and sports bar, offers typical pub fare, spirits, brews and cocktails. On-site recreation includes an indoor pool, spa tub and fitness center. The hotel's business center provides a computer workstation, a printer and a fax machine. Wireless Internet is also available throughout the property.
Guestrooms. The Hyatt Regency's 392 guestrooms were renovated in 2005 and feature contemporary décor with work desks, cordless phones and exceptional lighting. Furnishings include coffeemakers and 27-inch cable televisions. Bathrooms have been beautifully redesigned and offer separate dressing areas. This hotel does not allow pets.
