Overview
Location. The Wyland Waikiki is located in Honolulu, Hawaii, one block from the Waikiki Beach Walk and two blocks from Waikiki Beach. Ala Moana Shopping Center is positioned one mile from this property.
Hotel Features. The hotel's entrance is defined by four palm trees that form the letter "W." A whale-tail-shaped path angles past bronze sculptures of marine life leading to the hotel's lobby. The lobby showcases a 360-degree aquarium and original Wyland marine-themed sculptures, photographs and paintings. A complimentary "chill room" features a 65-inch LCD television, two video game consoles with gamer beanbags, and eight iJoy massage chairs. Spada serves Italian cuisine, features indoor and outdoor seating and is open for dinner nightly. The Wy Bar Lobby Lounge overlooks the outdoor pool and serves specialty cocktails. KiMOBEAN Coffee Company serves Hawaiian-grown, premium Kona coffee drinks and prepares pastries, focaccia sandwiches and desserts. Two complimentary iMac computers are located in the business center, and complimentary wireless Internet access is provided throughout the hotel. Spa Pure, the hotel's day spa, offers signature treatments such as the "Ocean Massage," that begins with shiatsu massage administered in a saltwater pool. An outdoor pool and a spa tub are provided.
Guestrooms.The Wyland Waikiki offers 403 guestrooms with furnished balconies, designer wooden furnishings, upholstered seating and décor in pale earth tones. Beds feature 250-thread count linens, triple sheeting, down pillows and baffle-box down blankets. Room amenities feature 27-inch, flat-screen televisions and radios with MP3 connections. Rooms are equipped with laptop-compatible in-room safes. Refrigerators and coffeemakers are provided. Bathrooms include showers only.
Expert Tip. Wyland promotes marine awareness and conservation of ocean resources through life-size public art known as Whaling Walls, which appear in the United States, Europe, New Zealand, Canada, Japan and Australia. An estimated one billion people view Wyland's murals each year.
