Steps away from the blue Pacific Ocean, and just minutes from all that San Diego has to offer, there is a place where lush gardens bloom year round. A quaint, seaside village, Cardiff-by-the-Sea is where people are friendly and the pace is relaxed.Cardiff-by-the-Sea is a charming oasis with beautiful views and flower gardens. Featuring luxurious bed and breakfast accommodations and guestrooms richly appointed with state-of-the-art decor. The inn provides a business center, fitness center and on-site restaurant. Linger over breakfast on an ocean-view terrace and savor sunsets around an open pit fire ring high on the rooftop. All guest rooms include air-conditioning and climate control, cable TV, executive desks, high speed Internet access, refrigerators, shower massage, and telephone. The Sweetheart room is circular with bay windows looking out onto the ocean. This room features a hand-carved bed and a heart-shaped whirlpool tub, along with an open beamed ceiling and a double sided fireplace. The romantic Southwest suite boasts a four-poster whitewashed log bed, a large Roman tub, flagstone fireplace and a wet bar. The Captain channels the spirit of a sea captains private chambers, featuring a whirlpool tub and fireplace. The Summer suite has wicker throughout, along with a hand-painted sky mural on the ceiling, giving it a porch-like feel. The Monticello has cherry furniture, a marble accented bath, and whirlpool tub. The Roosevelt is richly appointed with lace drapery and a queen sofa sleeper. The Paradise and Santa Fe both have wet bars, with the Santa Fe featuring a handcrafted fireplace and Roman tub. The Cullen maintains a turn-of-the-century theme with a four poster bed and handcrafted raised paneling. Kick back on the velvet loveseat in the Country Fresh room and take in the ocean views, or enjoy the fireplace and whirlpool tub. The Mediterranean has a cultured stone column, mirrors and a scrolled iron bed.
