The Island Trees High School is a coeducational 9-12 high school located at 59 Straight Lane, Levittown, New York, (USA) 11756 on Long Island. It is a part of the Island Trees Union Free School District, about 31.0 miles east of Manhattan. The school offers various clubs, electives, and AP courses. [1]

A dispute over the removal of books from the high school library lead eventually to the United States Supreme Court, where a fractured court ruled in Island Trees School District v. Pico that the school board had no power to remove the books. [1]

Musician Eddie Money and writer Steve Bergsman, both class of '67, attended Island Trees, as well as Radio host Paul Schadt, class of 77, and former American Idol contestant Kevin Covais, who attended the school from 2003 to 2007. [1]
