Burke High School is a secondary school located in Omaha, Nebraska. It is the most recently built high school in the Omaha Public Schools system. As of 2008 the acting principle is Dr. Connie Eichhorn. The school's mascot is the Bulldogs. Each year in May, the Nebraska State Track Meet is held at the school, with thousands of people present to watch and to compete. Omaha Burke High School is also one of the Omaha area schools that participates in the yearly Day of Silence event. ^[1]
