Holy Child Academy, member of the Diocesan Schools of Pagadian, is Pagadian City's second oldest educational institution. The academy was established by the Missionary Society of Saint Columban(MSSC). Due to lack of funds, the school was neverset for expansion. The school remained offering only high school and preschool education with the same curriculum with sister school, Saint Columban College,Inc. HCA was also the first Diocesan school in Pagadian City. And it was also the Diocese's Primary Educational Institution before Saint Columban College joined the Diocesan Schools of Pagadian and later then replaced Holy Child Academy as the Diocese's primary educational institution.
