Reedley High School is the first public high school in Reedley, California and in the Kings Canyon Unified School District. The marching band is one of the largest marching bands in the West Coast. The school was established in 1918 and has since created many unique traditions for the high school. Pirate Pride is instilled in every alumnus and student at RHS especially at sporting events and competitions.^[1]

Reedley High School gives students many options in what type of classes they want to take. From basic classes such as English 9 to creative classes like Children's Literature, Chicano Literature, American Literature, English Literature, Creative Prose & Poetry and many more. Reedley High School offers many electives such as the VROP classes that offer hands-on career experience, video production, computer graphics and design, woodshop, automechanics, floral design, virtual enterprise, on your own, fashion, microsoft certification, photography, veterinary science, peer counseling, student council, fitness and conditioning, and many other specialty classes. RHS offers many AP classes and Honors classes ranging from English to Psychology and French to World Cultures. There are also many academic related clubs and activities that are active throughout the campus.^[1]
