University of Makati (Umak) is a public university and locally funded by the City Government of Makati. To date, the University of Makati has a teaching force of 283 full-time faculty members and 169 none-teaching staff or administrative personnel. Its latest enrollment as of June 2010 was 12,273 students as the University limits acceptance of none Makati applicants. It has 10 colleges and academic centers offering 21 none-degree programs, 17 undergraduate degree programs, four (4) masters degree programs and a doctoral degree program. College of Nursing was opened jointly with Systems Technology Inc. (STI) in 2003.
