It was founded in 1960. It comprises the S.I.E.S. Arts and Science College (Degree College) and the S.I.E.S. Junior College of Arts and Science. Excellent results at various examinations and coveted awards and prizes bagged by the students have placed this college among the most outstanding institutions in the city. The principal is Dr. Harsha Mehta. This college is counted as one of the best because of its acclaimed teaching staff. The college has been awarded a B++ rating by the NAAC. ^[1]
