Yadavindra Public School, Mohali is a recent branch of Yadavindra Public School. This school is a member of the Indian Public Schools' Conference and is affiliated to CISCE. YPS offers an all-round education to its students. Apart from its magnificent stadium (built for the proposed Commonwealth games in 1938), this co-educational school has a 25 metre swimming pool for its students, 3 lush full size grounds for hockey and football, a main cricket field and a couple of horse riding grounds as well. In addition to this, there are other sporting facilities in the form of basketball, badminton and tennis courts. Table Tennis too, is reasonably popular. The school also owns several well-bred horses and horse riding is constantly increasing in popularity. ^[1]
