A mojor accomplishment considering that the country only started aggresively promoting BPO/ ITO in just about 7+ years ago. Most of the multinational and local BPO/ ITO players are focused on the American and European markets, given the fact that these markets are the most active in outsourcing and have majority of the world's requirements. Whenever a foreign companywould look at the Philippines, almost automatically, they will look at who the existing Filipino local players are.
