Madera High School North is the original high school in the central San Joaquin Valley city of Madera, California. The school colors are royal blue and white and its mascot is the coyote. In the 1990's, as the school population climbed over 4,000 students, the school opened a second campus approximately a mile and a half south of the main campus. More recently, the south campus has been designated a separate school altogether. Madera has a population of about 50,000. [1]
