A Bed of Roses at Yosemite is located five miles north of the town of Oakhurst, Calif., 10 miles from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park, known for its waterfalls, valleys, meadows and giant sequoias. The Wild Wonderful Vintage King Museum is less than five miles from the inn. White-water rafting on the Merced River is six miles from the property.Set on two-and-one-half acres of mountain forest with manzanita, pine and cedar trees, A Bed of Roses at Yosemite offers panoramic views of the Sierra Mountains. Full complimentary breakfasts are served each morning, and homemade cookies are available 24 hours a day. A refrigerator and microwave oven are provided for guests' use. Complimentary Internet access is available in common areas. The inn boasts a deck with seating, a freeform outdoor pool with waterfalls, spa tub and two fountains illuminated with fiber optic lights. Guests are welcome to relax in front of the fire in the living room. A Realistic Human Touch back, calf and foot massaging chair is available. The inn maintains a petting zoo with pot-bellied pigs, goats and Banty chicks. Guestrooms at A Bed of Roses at Yosemite are decorated in rose themes. Select rooms offer private outdoor decks and entrances, jetted tubs and wood-burning stoves. All rooms feature private bathrooms. The Wild Rose room is decorated in a jungle motif with a four-poster, wicker-style bed draped with a beaded silk canopy. Satellite television is provided. Select rooms offer DVD players.
