East Range Academy of Technology and Science, commonly called ERATS, is a public three-year charter school located in Eveleth, Minnesota. It is a tuition-free high school, serving grades 10-12. East Range Academy of Technology and Science, Minnesota Public Charter School #4166, accepts applications for enrollment year round. The school serves students from many Iron Range towns including, but not limited to: Eveleth, Gilbert, Virginia, Mt. Iron, Buhl, Chisholm, Hibbing, Cherry, Biwabik, Aurora, and Hoyt Lakes. East Range Academy of Technology and Science is located near the intersection of US 53 and Progress Parkway. As of the 20010-11 school year, the school had an enrollment of approximately 105 students and 15 staff members. ^[1]
