Lejeune High School (LHS), founded in 1944, is a high school located on the Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune near Jacksonville, North Carolina. The school is operated by the Department of Defense Education Activity of the United States Department of Defense. It is one of six schools in the Camp Lejeune Dependent Schools (CLDS), which include four elementary schools, one middle school and one high school. ^[1]

It is the only high school located at Camp Lejeune. Its enrollment averages approximately 470 students. The students are dependents of military personnel and must live on base (either at Camp Lejeune or at Marine Corps Air Station New River) in order to be eligible to attend LHS. Its sport teams are known as the Devilpups, because the children of the Marines go to the school and Marines are known as devil dogs. ^[1]

The school is lead by a Marine Corps officer and a civilian principal. The current principal, since 2007, is Wyonia Chevis. ^[1]
