University Of Development Alternative (UODA) is one of the top most leading private universities in Bangladesh.Now, UODA is offering 4-year honours degree in 10 subjects under 4 faculties.At present it has MBA,MSC in CS programme is open. As opposed to the prevailing system of higher education in the public sphere, a new trend of private initiatives has become apparent since the early 1990s. UODA hopes to equip its graduates with the necessary preparations for today's challenging economy. Learn from the experiences of development worldwide. Our motto is to find alternatives to the currently received wisdom in the field of social development. The name Development Alternative embodies that spirit. It aims at the development of an educated young manpower with practical training and adequate motivation, so that they can both build up their careers and contribute to national development. This can help meet the challenges of the 21st century in all spheres of professional life. [1]

Strategy To fulfill its mission, UODA emphasizes the following as a general strategy. → We carefully select our students and motivate them to complete the program of study in due time. → We offer courses and curricula with a view to equip our students to prepare themselves sufficiently to face the challenges of the 21st century. → We continuously monitor the students' progress throughout the year and provide timely feedback. → We ensure adequate logistical support and maintain a congenial environment for teaching and learning. Academic Standard UODA is committed to maintaining a high academic standard. Its graduates are expected to be leaders in private and public sectors as well as government and international organizations. High academic standards are maintained through: → A well designed modern curriculum and learning modules. → A well judged selection of qualified, experienced and committed faculty members. → A scope for faculty development through promotion of research and encouragement of publications. → A user-friendly computer center with modern equipments. → A well stocked library with a policy of continuous addition of books, journals, and research reports. → A series of seminars and workshops on topics of current national interest. → A close working relationship between the faculty members, the administration, and the students. Scope UODA has the authority, under its charter, to confer undergraduate and graduate degrees in all faculties of Arts and Sciences, including the fields of Engineering, Law, Agriculture and Medicine. It also has the authority to grant diplomas, certificates and other academic distinctions. Currently UODA offers Bachelor's and Master's degrees in a number of disciplines. [1]
Accreditation and Academic Collaboration Bangladesh Universities Grants Commission (UGC), Dhaka, Bangladesh, accredits UODA. Efforts are ongoing to expand academic collaboration through exchange programs and mutual accreditation with leading universities of the world. [1]
