Mahanagar Boys' Inter College (Now Montfort Inter college) is a college, established in July 1959 by the Society of Montfort Brothers of St. Garbiel in Lucknow.Mahanagar Boys' Inter College was originally known as Mahanagar Boy's High School, then it got the recognition as an intermediate college in 1984. In 2007 the name of the school was changed to "Montfort Inter College". ^[1]

The college runs classes from Class VI to the intermediate level and prepares students for the High School and Intermediate Examinations of the Uttar Pradesh Board. The teaching is in the English language. The principal of the school is Bro. Monachan K. K. ^[1]
