2009-2010 Sailing Season

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP STARTS WITH MAY 10 REGATTA

The Club Championship is held in the “off season” which runs from May thru October. All the races are tallied into one event. There were 4 races on May 10, and the overall results were a bit surprising. Luigi and Andy Reimers topped the rankings, which was not that surprising, but relative newcomer Glenn Everett placed second, probably inspired by his lovely crew Janna Franke. In another surprise finish, Paul Symes and Joanna placed third, beating Champion Nestor Soriano and his student Alex Chi. Maria and Bing were 5th, followed by Father and son team Brent and Jason Chamberlain. Rounding out the fleet was Andrew Johnson, and his crew Rose. I’m sorry I missed it, but Its great to see all the new sailors, and truly wonderful to see how some have progressed so far, in So little time!
