- Location. The Doubletree Metropolitan Hotel is located in New York, N.Y. This Midtown Manhattan property stands three blocks from Rockefeller Center and Fifth Avenue shops. The lobby features updated 1960s style with marble floors and Danish-modern accents. On-site dining venues include The Met Grill which prepares American and continental fare, Café Metro, and Tafu New York which serves Japanese tea and sweets. The Met Bar serves appetizers and cocktails. A business center houses four computer stations. A total of 11,000 square feet of function space accommodates events.
