GRACE OF SHEKINAH SCHOOL the name which means “GOD’S PRESENCE” or “GOD’S DWELLING PLACE” was established on the 8th of December 1988. The GSS Pre – School was given government recognition o March 22, 1999. DECS recognition of the GSS Grade School followed less than 3 months later on June 4, 1999. The High School Department was opened on the same year. [1]
The GRACE OF SHEKINAH SCHOOL believes that early education recognizes each child as a gift, a unique person capable of learning, growing and developing his / her own potentials. As distinct individual undergoing processes of growth on his / her own home, school and community, GRACE OF SHEKINAH SCHOOL, believes that the child must be provided with a balanced program of education. Such would integrate personal experiences and aspects of life, more especially his / her realization of being a unique person endowed with God given capabilities. These are all revealed on how child deals with his / her own physical, social and natural environment. [1]
The GRACE OF SHEKINAH SCHOOL would provide your child with nature’s life – giving opportunities to make him / her fully mature: physically, emotionally, psycho-socially, intellectually, morally, and spiritually. With all these integrations, GRACE OF SHEKINAH SCHOOL hopes that child becomes expressive, healthy, creative, self-directing and responsible person. Our school guarantees a school-home environment where love for people, individual spirituality, Christian virtues and total child discipline are all at the fore. [1]
Today, GRACE OF SHEKINAH SCHOOL, continues to grow in number with full-time, competent and efficient faculty members and inspiring leadership of the School’s Board of Directors. The men and women of the GRACE OF SHEKINAH SCHOOL continue to shine and strive toward giving all students the best in terms of facilities, academic instructions and values formation. [1]
