Caldwell is a city in and the county seat of Canyon County, Idaho, United States. The U.S. Census Bureau estimated the population to be 39,889, as of July 1, 2007.Caldwell is the home of the College of Idaho. It is considered part of the Boise metropolitan area.^[1]
