The Pencader Charter High School of Business & Finance is a high school in New Castle, Delaware that opened in August 2006. It opened with 350 students (200 freshman, 150 sophomores) and is the first high school in Delaware with a business and finance focus. The plan was to enroll 200 students each year thereafter and achieve a student population of 800 by the Fall of 2009. As of 2012, it had approximately 430 students. It has two nearly identical buildings overlooking the Delaware River. ^[1]
