  • Overview
    • Location. The five-story Maison Dupuy Hotel of New Orleans, La., is located in a residential section of the French Quarter and stands two blocks from Bourbon Street. The French Market is nine blocks away, and Riverwalk shops are 13 blocks from the hotel.
    • Hotel Features. The Maison Dupuy Hotel consists of five former town homes melded into a single establishment, with the center of the hotel featuring a plant-filled courtyard complete with lounging furniture and a three-tiered fountain. The hotel is home to the famous Dominique's Restaurant, a highlight among the city's fine-dining establishments. The hotel's more casual eatery, the French Quarter Bistro, features hardwood floors, mirrored columns, French Quarter street views and a wall mural reminiscent of Toulouse-Lautrec's artwork. Weekend buffet-style breakfasts are served. A spa tub and fitness center overlook the heated, outdoor, saltwater pool, all of which are surrounded by a stone-paved, palm-lined courtyard. More than 2,600 square feet of function space overlooks and opens out onto the courtyard.
    • Guestrooms. Decorated in French provincial style, guestrooms display imported fabrics, signature local art and balconies overlooking the courtyard and French Quarter. Beds are dressed with 300-thread count sheets and down duvets. Guestrooms include coffeemakers. In-room safes are complimentary. High-speed wired and wireless Internet access is complimentary.
    • Expert Tip. This hotel stands within the Vieux Carre, or Old Square district. These original seven blocks were established as the French Quarter in 1722. No new hotel rooms have been permitted in this exclusive area of New Orleans since 1972.
