Overview
- Location. The Casa de Estrellas is located in historic downtown Santa Fe, N.M. Shops, restaurants and galleries at the Santa Fe Plaza are one-quarter mile away. The Palace of the Governors and New Mexico Museum of Art are one-quarter mile from the property. The New Mexico State Capitol, East Santa Fe River Park and St. Francis Cathedral are less than one mile away.
- Features. This Southwestern-style, 1930s apartment complex was fully restored by a Hollywood designer. The property features the original Spanish terra-cotta roof. Villas at the Casa de Estrellas feature antique furnishings and hand-hewn oak floors. Handcrafted details include fresco-finished, hand-troweled plaster walls and ceilings, and colorful mosaic tile. The courtyard seating area features gardens and a stone fountain. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are available for a fee. The Estrellas Spa offers a variety of massages, including Deep River, Hot Stone and Oil Drop massages. Facials, body scrubs, a sauna, steam room, spa tub, yoga and a fitness room are also available at the spa. Garage parking is provided at the property.
- Guestrooms. One- and two-bedroom villas feature gourmet kitchens with espresso machines, Gaggenau gas grills and dishwashers, and separate dining rooms. Living rooms offer fireplaces, flat-screen televisions with cable channels and surround-sound DVD/CD players. Complimentary wireless Internet access is provided. All units are equipped with washers and dryers.
- Expert Tip. The property's butler service, only available in the highest level of villas for a fee, offers the luxury of a butler to take room service orders for breakfast, lunch and dinner, handle laundry, dry cleaning or pressing requests, or draw a scented bubble bath. After greeting guests upon arrival, the butler will process registration in the villa, unpack luggage, serve a welcome drink and take care of any requests. During the guests' stay, the butler will also check and restock the kitchen.
