Chateau on the Mountain, perched on a hill overlooking Hoopers Creek Valley, is located in Fletcher, N.C., 12 miles south of Asheville. One of the most scenic drives in the country, the 400-mile Blue Ridge Parkway, is accessible ten miles from the bed and breakfast. Chimney Rock, the Carl Sanburg Home, and the Biltmore Estate are all less than 20 miles away.This inn boasts 11,000-square-feet positioned on more than 10 acres of manicured lawns and forested trails. Complimentary breakfasts, including fresh apples smothered with brandy, brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins and nuts, are served daily.
