The Doubletree Pittsburgh Downtown is the city's only all-suites high-rise hotel. Centrally located in downtown's historic Grant Street district, the hotel is just a few blocks from the Convention Center and the Mellon Arena. Tourists and art lovers that enjoy Pittsburgh's colonial history will appreciate the hotel's close proximity to the Carnegie Science Center and Library, the Frick Art and Historical Center, and the Andy Warhol Museum. Other cultural excursions include the Fort Pitt Museum and the National Aviary, both within walking distance.The hotel features a glass-domed indoor lap pool, as well as discounted access to the adjacent, 10,000-square-foot Downtown Athletic Club. Other hotel amenities include a day spa, sauna and steam room, on-site restaurant and patio lounge, meeting rooms, business center, 24-hour front desk, and gift shop and convenience store.
