The college was established in the year 1981 by Sri Pendekanti Venkatasubbaiah who founded the Vasavi Academy of Education. Carrying on with the commitment of providing quality education, the Academy established various institutions in diverse disciplines such as management, law, music and dance. After a modest start, Vasavi College of Engineering has grown in leaps and bound to become an epitome of higher learning. ^[1]
