Dharamsinh Desai Institute of Technology' (DDIT)[2] is an institute of higher learning, situated in the city of Nadiad in Gujarat state in Western India. It was founded in 1968 by Dharamsinh Dadubhai Desai, who then was a Member of Parliament. The vice-chancellor of the university is Dr H. M. Desai, who is an expert in Sanskrit and a political figure in the Ahmedabad area. [1]
DDIT imparts both bachelor and master level degrees in the fields of computer engineering, electronic engineering, instrumentation & control engineering, chemical engineering,information technology and civil engineering. It was founded as a chemical engineering college and is still recognised as one of the premier colleges teaching chemical engineering. The university also offers BE integrated MBA program and Master of Computer Application (MCA). [1]
