The school was founded by Mr. Pennathur Subramaniam. The increasing emphasis of the Tamil Nadu state Government on Tamil being used as the medium of instruction was ultimately causing a noticeable fall in Tamil Nadu’s share of employment in all- India and Central services and in the National Science & Technology establishments. In 1973, P.S. Charities decided to vigorously promote the establishment of English medium schools. The P.S. Educational Society started 9th June 1976 P.S. Senior Secondary School, starting with standards I-VII from the academic year 1976-77.the school is also famous for producing extremely famous students.the take in only the best for eleventh standard.so if u r there be sure u r one of the best. ^[1]
