The Jeppiaar Educational Trust aims at imparting technical education to the aspiring youth of India. The Jeppiaar Educational Trust under the leadership of Founder-Chairman & Managing Trustee, Dr.Jeppiaar was formed in 1987 with the purpose of training and providing effective manpower for effective nation building. St. Joseph's College of Engineering under the aegis of Jeppiaar Educational Trust was instituted in the year 1994 in accordance with the general policy of government of Tamil Nadu. It gives high priority to Technical Education in order to meet the growing demands of trained engineers to various industrial and development projects in India. The college is reputed for its student placements, discipline and infrastructure. It is a Christian Minority Institution and is one of the Tier-1 Institutions in Tamil Nadu. [1]
