Malolo District School or "MDS" known to those that had attended this school is located on Malolo Island, the largest island in the Mamanuca Islands Group. The school was established in 1930 which enrolls children from class 1- 8. Malolo District School is a non-government school and children attending this school comes from the nearby Yaro and Solevu villages as well as those children whose parents are working in the nearby resorts of Malolo, Likuliku, Musket Cove, Plantation, Lomani, and Walu Beach resorts.
