- Location. Poised in the center of downtown Anchorage, Alaska, the contemporary Westmark Anchorage Hotel, a Holland America Line Company, lies adjacent to the dramatically designed Alaska Center for the Performing Arts and across the street from the Imaginarium Science Center. This landmark property is within two blocks of the Egan Convention Center, five blocks from the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail and four-and-one-half miles from the floatplanes at Lake Hood and Lake Spenard. A People Mover bus conveniently stops across the street from the property.
- Hotel Features. Red-leather chairs and a glowing fireplace grace the lobby, where large windows allow abundant, ambient light to flood the reception area. Breakfasts, lunches and dinners are served at the Solstice Bar and Grille, which specializes in steak and fresh Alaskan seafood. A planetarium and lectures on wildlife and the geosciences are offered. Activities include the marine touch tank and standing inside of a giant bubble in the Bubble Lab.
