- Location. Settled along the fairways of the Conquistador Golf and Tennis Club, the Golf Villas at Oro Valley are condo-style accommodations 15 miles from downtown Tucson, Ariz. Fourth Avenue is the city's historic shopping and entertainment district, boasting some fantastic restaurants, galleries and more than 50 unique shops. In recent years, many of the galleries have moved from the Downtown Arts District into the foothills leaving the area to the bustling nightlife scene.
- Hotel Features. The property features two pools, jetted tubs and a 24-hour fitness center. Round-the-clock concierge service is available and guests receive privileges at El Conquistador Country Club. Internet access is available in public areas for a fee. Barbeque grills are located on site for guest use.
- Guestrooms. Each of the one- and two-bedroom villas features a kitchen with refrigerator, range and microwave oven. Jetted tubs and fireplaces add a relaxing ambience to the units, and all accommodations have cable television and VCRs.
- Expert Tip. The Arizona Sonora Desert Museum, 11 miles from the resort, is actually a zoo, and one of the best in the country at that. A diverse collection of exhibits with almost invisible boundaries make is seem as though there is nothing between the animals and the visitors. Bears, mountain lions, coyotes, tarantulas and scorpions call the zoo home, with one of the more popular exhibits being the walk-in hummingbird aviary.
