- Location. Set amid La Jolla Village's shops, museums and restaurants, the historic La Valencia Hotel is located in La Jolla, Calif. This Mediterranean-style property offers panoramic views from atop La Jolla Cove. San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park is located one block away, and the Museum of Contemporary Art is four blocks from the hotel.
