New Village Charter High School is an all-girls, college preparatory charter school, which opened in September 2006 with grades 9 and 10. For the school year beginning in September 2007, 11th grade will be added; and 12th grade will be added the following year. New Village’s goal is that all graduating seniors will be well prepared to either apply to a four or two year college; to enroll in vocational training; or to enter directly into the world of work. The school is located near Rampart and Beverly Boulevards in Los Angeles, California. [1]
