- Location. Since 1948, the Balboa Bay Club and Resort has been a refuge for vacationers and leisure professionals in southern California's Newport Beach. Located just one mile from Newport Dunes and three miles from the shops at Fashion Island, this 15-acre seaside retreat provides high service standards and luxury accommodations. The concierge staff can arrange complimentary shuttle service to and from the Orange County/John Wayne Airport, and to attractions within a five-mile radius.
