Thousand Oaks High School is a high school established in 1962 and located in Thousand Oaks, California. It is a California Distinguished School, and offers curriculum at all levels for Thousand Oaks students. The mascot is the lancer. [1]

  • Overview, Photographs, & Video Links Thousand Oaks High School is a member of the California Interscholastic Federation and offers a variety of sports programs. Athletic teams are known as the "Lancers". Extracurricular activities are also offered in the form of band, performing arts, school publications, and various clubs.
  • In Athletics Thousand Oaks High School continues to lead the way in Marmonte League sports with championships in Boy’s Basketball, Boy’s Swim, Boy’s and Girl’s Track and Field, and Girl’s Tennis. In recent years, the Thousand Oaks High has been recognized for its boys tennis program, the Thousand Oaks High boys’ tennis team graduated four quality starters after winning a CIF-Southern Section Division 1 championship spring of 2009, but the Lancers remains formidable in 2010. They have the most decorated high school boys' tennis player in area history in Marcos Giron, one of the top 15 in the country. Coach Rich Endres kept the Lancer boys basketball team at the top of the Marmonte League in 2010 with a 12 - 2 record and an impressive non league schedule.
  • Academics, including 10 National Merit Scholarship Finalists, a number of award winners during this year’s County Science Fair, and a sweep of this year's Rotary Four-Way Test Essay contest just to name a few. Additionally, TOHS features the EThOS Entrepreneurship Academy is designed for students who would like to learn to turn ideas into action and become entrepreneurs of their generation. It is for students who seek the tools to nurture their creativity and become self starters with an entrepreneurial mindset, regardless of what they go on to do in life. In addition, entrepreneurial leadership is vital to solve the world’s most pressing problems. Through this program, a group of tenth- through twelfth-grade students explore the world of entrepreneurship and all that it encompasses.
  • In the performing arts our Marching Band had another successful year including a national championship at the Fiesta Bowl Parade, a Dance Team National Championship during a competition in Anaheim earlier this year, and the establishment of a Strings/Orchestra program that has already gained notoriety at competitions and performances throughout Southern California.
