Thomas B. Doherty High School (DHS) is the newest high school in District 11 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, serving northeast Colorado Springs. The schools that feed into Doherty include Jenkins, Russell and Sabin Middle Schools. The school's colors are blue and green, and the mascot is the Spartan. The current principal, Dr. Jill Martin, of DHS was named the 2007 MetLife/National Association of Secondary School Principals National High School Principal of the Year.^[1]
