- Location. Tucked between the beach and the Intracoastal Waterway, the Fort Lauderdale Oceanfront Hotel offers a convenient location and an array of beachside amenities. One mile from downtown, the hotel is three blocks from Beach Place, a shopping, dining and nightlife complex. Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport is 4.5 miles from the property.
