Barefoot Beach Resort South is located on the white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico in Madeira Beach, Fla. John's Pass Village and Boardwalk, offering specialty shops, seafood restaurants boat cruises and charter fishing fleets, is 500 yards from the hotel. Saint Petersburg, Fla., offering botanical gardens, museums, shopping malls and several parks, is eight miles east of the hotel.This four-story hotel offers beach access via a small stairway from the property's parking lot. The hotel features a sundeck that contains a rectangular pool with rounded ends, lounge chairs and patio furniture. The hotel offers expansive views of the gulf, where dolphins can often be seen playing in the distance.Studios at the Barefoot Beach Resort South, renovated in 2005 and 2006, offer kitchenettes with refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffeemakers with complimentary coffee. HDTV flat-screen televisions with cable channels are featured in all guest accommodations. Bathrooms feature granite countertops and shower/tub combinations. Balconies offer ocean views or views of the pool.
