Center Grove High School (colloquially known as CG) is a four star high school located in Greenwood, Indiana, United States. The mascot is a Trojan, as are the names of all of its sports teams. The principal, Matt Shockley, is assisted by Sandy Hillman, Trael Kelly, Tim Hudson, and Paul Buck, while Ruben DeLuna serves as Dean of Students. CGHS has a variety of clubs, programs, and sports for the students to participate in. [1]
In 2006, CG had a threat against the principal that was the main story for the year. Since then, the school has had a great increase in security, hiring an around-the-clock security guard to patrol the school. Beginning in June 2007, road construction work began on Stones Crossing Road, right next to the CGHS property. As of December, it is not yet finished and continues to cause congestion for student drivers and bus traffic in the afternoon dismissal rush. [1]
