Location. The Bienville House is located in the historic French Quarter of New Orleans, La. Hotel Features. The Bienville House, originally a riverfront warehouse, was converted into a hotel in 1965. Hand-painted murals grace the walls of the lobby, designed to resemble a gracious French Quarter manor. Cookies and lemonade are served here each afternoon. Meeting rooms accommodating up to 100 people are available. The historic hotel features four sundecks, access to a nearby fitness center and a romantic tropical flagstone courtyard and pool. Pets are welcome here for a fee, and the hotel provides pet beds, a bowl and treats upon request.
